Answered Prayer

God is faithful. We're grateful to report these answers to our previous prayer requests.

1. Give thanks for two new churches, The Village and The Gallery, launching September 14!

2. Praise God for the amazing things He has done in Baltimore so far in 2008, including an incredibly active and fruitful summer season. A few examples:

Starting Churches:
   * 44 professions of faith!
   * 455 national and 548 local volunteers engaged in evangelism
   * hosted North American Mission Board Power Plant with 6 churches assisting 1 new church plant

Sending Missionaries:
   * 4,118 (2,208 national and 1,910 local BBA) volunteers mobilized to do evangelism
   * 34 Summer Missionaries served 16 Baltimore Baptist Association Churches (with 1 in the Embrace Baltimore office)
   * 88 churches, colleges, and other groups from 22 states have 123 partnerships with existing Baltimore churches and church plants

Sharing Christ:
   * 4,118 persons engaged in Sharing Christ
   * 776 professions of faith from 167 evangelistic events (block parties, servant evangelism, camps, etc.)!
   * 205 professions of faith from 28 Vacation Bible Schools serving 2,218 kids!
   * 129 professions of faith from 29 Upward Sports Camps serving 850 kids!

3. Thank God that 69 percent of the Baltimore Baptist Association churches have partnered with Embrace Baltimore to work together to reach their communities for Christ.
